Warranty coverage, exclusions & care tips

Covers the complete wiper unit — 10 months, or 12 months after online registration.

Covered by warranty (free replacement under normal use)

  1. Silicone hardening, cracking, or deformation

    → After ~7 months of normal rainy driving, obvious hardening or small cracks cause poor wiping.

  2. Coating / water-beading completely fails

    → After ~8 months, rain no longer beads and smears across the glass (with normal glass cleaning, no harsh cleaners).

  3. Clip / connector manufacturing defect

    → Clip breaks or won't secure after proper installation (not from forceful fitting).

  4. Streaks seriously affect vision

    → Large streaks or chattering under normal use, with clear photos provided.

Not covered (customer pays for replacement)

  1. Improper installation

    → Forced fitting, reversed clip, or excessive force bending the wiper arm or tearing the rubber.

  2. Dry wiping (no water)

    → Long dry wipes without rain or washer fluid, causing severe scratches or silicone damage.

  3. Improper chemicals

    → Alcohol, petrol, strong acid/alkali cleaners, glass polish, or inferior oil-film removers / coatings wiped on the blade, accelerating coating failure or aging.

  4. Human / accidental damage

    → Accidents, hail, pet bites, children, vandalism, etc.

  5. Beyond warranty period or no proof

    → Beyond 10 months (12 months if registered online), no purchase proof (order screenshot), or unable to verify serial number.

  6. Long-term sun exposure aging

    → Vehicle parked in direct sun for extended periods — UV and heat accelerate silicone aging (not a manufacturing defect).

How to protect your wipers & make them last longer

  • 🅿️ Park in shade or use a windshield sunshade — reduces UV aging in Malaysia's heat
  • ☀️ When parked for hours in direct sun, lift wipers off the glass so the silicone blade doesn't bake on the windshield
  • 💦 Always wet the glass first (washer fluid or water) — never wipe dry dirt or sand; it scratches the blade edge
  • 🧴 Use LUPHYX Glass Oil Film Remover to clean the windshield — gentle on glass, removes film without harsh chemicals that attack silicone
  • ✨ After cleaning, apply AUTOGO HD Glass Coating for clearer vision and water beading — a clean, coated glass means quieter, longer-lasting wipes
  • 🚫 Avoid cheap or unknown glass products — inferior removers and coatings can corrode the blade edge and are not covered under warranty

  • 🚫 Keep petrol, diesel, and harsh chemicals away from the silicone blade — wipe off spills promptly
  • 🔧 Check blade contact monthly; if streaking persists after cleaning the glass, it's time to replace
  • 🌧️ Keep washer fluid topped up during monsoon season for safer, quieter wipes
